One of the things I like best about this movie is that Mr. Tarantino made an honest effort to ground his movie in some "reality. Such as having a WWII movie where the Germans actually speak German! How very novel! I won"t say there isn"t a fair share of surrealism - it wouldn"t be a proper Tarantino without it - but it doesn"t disrupt the flow of the story.
All in all I"d highly recommend going to see it, even if you"re not particularly fond of Tarantino"s earlier works.
